Southern Uprising Festival Stage 2023
Southern Uprising was a wider site-delivery project as well as a stage hire. HeathTech supplied the 8m x 6m main stage, covered PA wings, event power, festoon, technical sourcing and the lighting and video operation, with the rural layout planned before marquees and other structures fixed the available routes.

The festival needed a covered main stage for live bands, a rear video wall and protected PA positions on both sides. Beyond the performance structure, the organiser also needed practical help joining the technical and site elements into one workable plan across the rural field.
HeathTech's role therefore began before the trailer arrived. It included stage and site positioning, main-stage power, sourcing technical equipment, site festoon and the lighting and video operation during the show. The 8m x 6m stage with covered PA wings became the fixed reference point for the rest of the production layout.

Site and access
Working with the conditions on the ground.
The event field was both sloping and muddy, with the stage position forming part of a larger temporary site rather than an isolated build. Vehicle traction during load-out was a known risk, and placing marquees or service routes too early could have removed the turning and towing space needed by the trailer stage.
Delivery and setup
A practical route from arrival to show-ready.
The first setup day was used to walk, mark and agree the site with the organiser before the marquee positions were fixed. The trailer stage was then moved onto its mark and levelled, establishing a dependable reference for power, festoon, PA positions and the other technical areas. Lighting and video equipment were installed with the roof lowered before being raised for the show.
A tractor was arranged in advance for the load-out rather than waiting to discover whether the towing vehicle could clear the wet field unaided. That planned support was used to move the stage off the muddy ground at the end of the project.
