Alsager Music Festival Stage Hire 2024-2026

HeathTech supplied the main band stage at three consecutive editions of Alsager Music Festival from 2024 to 2026. The 8m x 6m trailer stage, lighting design and show operation were delivered within a compact same-day schedule, with careful vehicle guidance through a narrow stone gateway into Milton Park.

Alsager Music Festival runs several performance areas across Milton Park, with the main stage carrying a full programme of live bands. That programme needed the depth of the 8m x 6m stage for backline, performers and changeovers, while the stage-name banner and lighting had to form a clear visual focus for the audience.

The 2024 setup used PA wings. For the later events the sound system moved to separate PA stands, leaving the stage structure focused on the covered performance deck, front lighting position and Stath's Stage banner. HeathTech designed, rigged and operated the lighting, using an MA control desk, while JnS Sound and Lighting supplied the sound and lighting equipment.

Site and access

Working with the conditions on the ground.

The route into Milton Park passed through a narrow gateway with stone pillars on both sides. Because the trailer follows a wider line than the towing vehicle through a turn, the approach and trailer swing had to be planned rather than judged at the last moment. Overhanging trees added another fixed restriction between the entrance and stage position.

Delivery and setup

A practical route from arrival to show-ready.

Two people guided the vehicle and trailer through the gateway, watching both stone pillars and the overhead branches throughout the turn. Delivery began at around 8am and the trailer stage itself was built in approximately two hours. Lighting and the front stage banner were fitted while the roof was at working height before it was raised for the show.

The live programme ran from midday into the evening. HeathTech worked closely with JnS Sound and Lighting on the stage position, equipment requirements and shared timings, then completed the post-show load-out in roughly two and a half hours so the site could be cleared that night.

The 8m x 6m format gave the all-band programme the space it required and established a recognisable main-stage position within the wider festival. Repeating the project in 2024, 2025 and 2026 also meant that the access method, build sequence and supplier coordination could be carried forward rather than rediscovered each year.
